Airfare Booking Service Fee
Airlines no longer pay commission to travel advisors for airfare purchases. When I assist with flight-only bookings, a professional service fee applies.
This fee covers:
- Personalized flight research based on your needs
- Fare comparison and schedule coordination
- Booking assistance and confirmation review
- Guidance on baggage rules, seat classes, and airline policies
💜 Good to know:
- No airfare service fee is charged when flights are booked as part of a hotel, cruise, or vacation package
- All fees are disclosed upfront before any booking is completed
Service fees are non-refundable once flights are booked, as they compensate time and expertise provided.
🛫 Flight Monitoring & Tracking (Booking Perk)
As an added benefit of booking airfare through Tracy’s Travels, I provide complimentary flight tracking for your itinerary.
This includes:
- Monitoring your flights for schedule changes and delays
- Tracking flights up to 12 hours prior to departure
- Providing you with a flight tracking link that can be shared with a loved one for peace of mind
✨ This service is a courtesy perk and does not replace airline notifications or real-time airport communications.
⚠️ Airline Responsibility & Limitations
While I work diligently to assist and monitor your travel plans, please note:
- Airlines are solely responsible for flight operations, delays, cancellations, aircraft changes, and schedule adjustments
- Tracy’s Travels cannot control airline decisions, weather disruptions, mechanical issues, staffing shortages, or air traffic delays
- Flight monitoring is informational and does not guarantee advance notice of all changes
Travelers are encouraged to:
- Download their airline’s official mobile app
- Enable airline notifications
- Check directly with the airline for same-day travel updates
📄 Accuracy of Traveler Information
Clients are responsible for providing accurate legal names, dates of birth, and travel documents that match government-issued identification.
Tracy’s Travels is not responsible for:
- Name mismatches
- Incorrect or expired travel documents
- Denied boarding due to documentation issues
Please review your confirmation details immediately upon receipt.
🔄 Changes, Cancellations & Refunds
- Airline change and cancellation policies vary by carrier and fare type
- Any airline-imposed change fees, fare differences, or penalties are the traveler’s responsibility
- Service fees charged by Tracy’s Travels are non-refundable, regardless of airline changes
I will always explain applicable airline rules before booking so there are no surprises.
